Sevenoaks

Sevenoaks is in West Kent and borders Greater London, Surrey and Sussex. Much of the district is made up of countryside. There is not one community in our district but many different village communities and groups.

Within Sevenoaks district we have many tourist attractions. There are castles, country houses, parks, rivers and protected areas for wildlife. Gatwick airport is not far away and we have good links to motorways that can take you most places around the country.

We are working hard to make Sevenoaks District a good place for people to live for everyone. This means making sure people are part of the life of the community. Inclusion to us means: Welcoming people in, helping people in, supporting people in and making sure people can get in. To do this we are building links with lots of other people in adult education, the police, the NHS and Libraries and Sport and Leisure Centres. We are building a link with the Sevenoaks Access Group to make sure people with learning disabilities have a voice with other disabled people.
