About the materials
Person centred planning refers to a family of planning tools designed to help make sure that people with learning difficulties are increasingly in control of their own lives, make a contribution to others, and have a social life and meaningful days.
Within this resource pack you will follow Jackie's story as her planning circle is formed and they start working together. You will see on the DVD how people start to think about Jackie's life, build a picture of a different future and create a first action plan. The pack will help you to look at how you can make a start with someone you care about who wants their life to be different.
This pack will be of particular interest to those who are supporting people with significant support needs and who may not use spoken language as the primary means of making their wishes known and understood.
