District Partnership Group Planning

District Partnership Groups from Kent Meet up and Work Together

It was a wonderful day. On the 16th June members of the 12 District Partnership Groups across Kent spent the day working together. Linda Cooper, Chair of the Kent Partnership Board, and members of the North Kent Advocacy Scheme led the day.

Each district team worked together to tell everyone else about their work. We all shared what we had done in our own communities. We told each other about the things we had achieved.

We looked ahead to the future and said what we would like to do. Many District Partnership Groups said that they would like to do more, especially in taking control over future local services.

The things people said are going to be written up and a report will be sent out. The day was only a beginning and everybody is looking forward to the next steps.

Thank you to the North Kent Advocacy Scheme for doing lots of work behind the scenes and making the day go so smoothly.
