The Sevenoaks District Partnership Group

The Sevenoaks District Partnership Group works as a team to change the lives of people with learning disabilities and their families for the better.

To do this it is building good partnerships across our different communities to help them become stronger and better places, where everybody is given the chance to contribute and belong.

People with learning disabilities are having a clearer voice in making future plans. This is important to us as we are learning about the things that they feel are most important and would make the biggest difference to their lives.

The Sevenoaks District Partnership Group makes local information available, provides a place for people to meet and has a strong relationship with the Kent Partnership Board that is responsible for creating change across the county.

On the 16th June 2006 our District Partnership Group met up with the other 11 groups across the county to learn together and decide what else we need to do together. See the article on this website.
